Neutral colors and warm clothing for mornings and evenings is suggested for the game reserves.
Climate and seasons South African seasons are opposite to those of North America. Summer: November- march
Winter: April-august. Summers are warm to hot and winters are relatively mild. Annual rainfall average less than 10 inches in the west and 40 inches in the east.

area should take anti-malaria tablets; These are available without prescription and South African drug stores (pharmacies).
Language South Africa has 11 official languages English is the most widely spoken as well as Afrikaans, Sotho and Othere
cultural languages.

The currency of South Africa is the Rand one USD is equal to approx. 8 Rands.
